CLIENT REQUEST
The refinery has embarked on a major transformation to become a zero-oil platform, aligned with carbon neutrality objectives.
The project requires investments of over €500 million to develop four new industrial activities, including biofuel and bioplastics production, plastics recycling and the operation of solar photovoltaic power plants.
CHALLENGE
The refinery ceased operations, leading to a steam supply interruption. To avoid any delays in the plant’s dismantling and redevelopment process, our client and their chemical treatment specialist partner sought a modular, fast, and energy-independent solution.
TIBBLOC SOLUTION
Tibbloc deployed three steam boilers, each with a capacity of 3 T/h, 6 T/h, and 10 T/h.
Equipped with food-grade tarpaulins, discharge valves, softeners, and fuel tanks, these boilers are interconnected at multiple injection points, ensuring the necessary steam for efficient chemical propulsion.

OBJECTIVES
To meet a steam requirement for a car battery factory and supply 25 T/h of steam while treating effluents before their discharge into the environment.
CLIENT REQUEST
In its production line, the factory uses steam and is investing in boiler rooms: 2x 25 T/h gas-fired and 1x 25 T/h electric.
We intervene upstream of production to assist with the factory’s startup while awaiting the full delivery of the permanent boiler room.
CHALLENGE
- The factory is subject to ecological requirements for its water discharge.
- We therefore deploy 25 T/h of steam (15 T/h + 10 T/h) to maintain production while meeting our client’s environmental demands.
TIBBLOC SOLUTION
Multi-stage deployment:
- Stage 1: installation of a 1.3 T/h boiler with its accessories.
- Stage 2: installation of a 6 T/h boiler with a 6 m³ tank with water treatment and a blowdown tank.
- Stage 3: deployment of a 10 T/h boiler as well as a 15 T/h boiler with its softeners of 20 and 10 m³/h and a 26 m³ feed tank.

PROFITS
