TIBBAQUA

Water treatment monitoring

Tibbloc offers companies a subscription service to its TIBBAQUA application for monitoring water treatment and generating automatic reports.

This option is particularly recommended for long-term rentals. When using the water treatment monitoring application, the technician will contact the customer upon receipt of e-mail alerts.

  • Enhanced security thanks to the visibility of the data at all times (parameter reading sheets, rapid detection and reporting via the sending of alerts on deviations), the acceleration of corrective actions and the exhaustiveness of the readings: boiler, softener, demineralisation, osmosis
  • Ease of use with pre-filled tracking sheets for control of settings, stocks and mixtures
  • Savings on treatment products, water and gas thanks to early management of drifts
  • Time saving: ideal solution for long term rental of our steam boilers
  • Continuous improvement through automatically generated reports and preventive action to reduce breakdowns and optimize plant performance, while cutting operating costs.

1. Prevent scaling

Raw water contains mineral salts which, under the effect of high temperatures, settle and form scale.

Consequences:

⚠ Reduced efficiency

⚠ Overheating of the walls

⚠ Premature breakdowns

Solutions:

➡ Softening

➡ Reverse osmosis

➡ Demineralisation

➡ Converting raw water into make-up water

Tibbloc containerised softening solution

2. Limit corrosion

Even without hardness, make-up water still contains:

  • Oxygen dissolved
  • CO₂ dissolved

Two highly corrosive factors

Solutions:

✔ Deaeration in a tank (condensate returns + steam injection)

✔ Adding corrosion inhibitors

➡ Converting make-up water into feedwater

Feedwater tank solution plus softener in a container

3. Prevent priming (foaming)

Dissolved salts present in feedwater concentrate at the bottom of the boiler during the change from water to steam.

Consequences:

⚠ Poor steam quality

⚠ Water carryover

⚠ Risks for downstream equipment

➡ Regular bottom blowdowns are therefore necessary, as well as a TDS control system (automatic on our boilers).

Integrated equipment:

Steam boilers from 30 to 3,000 kg/h

✔ Almost systematic integration:

  • Softener with salt tank
  • Tank with chemical dosing pump
  • Blowdown flash vessel integrated into the boiler container

Above 3,000 kg/h

✔ Water treatment solutions on a skid or in a container (optional).

Services & support:

✔ Salts and treatment chemicals suited to your uses and our equipment

✔ Supply of analysis kits

✔ On-site training

Commissioning of installations

Weekly interpretation of analyses with corrective advice

Real-time monitoring of water treatment

Alerts in case of deviation
