Validation of critical installations in data centers
OBJECTIVES
- Test the new refrigeration systems of a Parisian data center.
- Verify the system’s capacity to meet thermal constraints under real conditions.
- Ensure the operational continuity of a strategic digital infrastructure during the testing phase.
CLIENT REQUEST
Our client wanted to install a system with a total heating capacity of 2,100 kW electric, located on a rooftop terrace. The project required a solution adapted to the site’s technical constraints with rapid implementation and an estimated work duration of 7 weeks.
CHALLENGE
- Simulate thermal loads representative of actual operation to validate the performance of the new refrigeration systems.
- Ensure operational continuity and maximum safety in a critical environment.
- Meet a tight schedule for conducting strategic tests.
TIBBLOC SOLUTION
- Installation of 5 ten-foot containers, each equipped with 2 electric boilers of 252 kW.
- Addition of 1 additional container with 2 backup boilers.
- In total, 2,500 kW, including 500 kW of backup, were installed to ensure redundancy.
- Rooftop terrace positioning
- Fast and secure connection by a dedicated team.
PROFITS
- Reliability and safety: Redundancy with 500 kW backup, equipment compliant with data center standards.
- Flexibility: Short-term rental adapted to testing phases, modular equipment according to project evolution.
- Responsiveness: Rapid installation to meet the schedule, operational monitoring ensured by Tibbloc.
- Cost optimization: No heavy investment, billing adapted to the actual project duration.
