Keeping an industrial laundry running after a steam boiler breakdown

OBJECTIVES

Urgent request to hire a steam boilerto guarantee continuity of laundry operations.

CUSTOMER REQUEST

Following a breakdown in the steam boilerwe were called in urgently by an industrial laundry to secure its business. Linen production had to be maintained for a demanding clientele of hotels, restaurants and cafés.

The site, which specializes in the treatment of professional linen (towels, tablecloths, towels, bathrobes…), saw a critical part of its process shut down, notably the ironing and folding zones, which depend directly on a constant supply of steam.

To avoid disruption of service to its customers and delivery delays, we quickly set up a mobile steam boiler equipped with a food tank and water softener, to meet the requirements of the industrial process.

CHALLENGE

Propose a 24-hour solution to enable the laundry to continue steam production during the outage and while their equipment is being repaired. To avoid a prolonged production stoppage and consequent financial loss, our aim is to intervene as quickly as possible.

TIBBLOC SOLUTIONS

Within 24 hours, Tibbloc deployed a 6 t/h steam boiler equipped with a feedwater tank and water treatment system, which guaranteed the steam needed to continue operations.
