Heat Dissipation During Testing of a Biomass Heat Network
OBJECTIVES
- Ensure the reliability of performance tests for the new refrigeration production plant of a data center belonging to a major banking group.
- Verify the system’s capacity to meet thermal and energy constraints under real-world conditions.
- Guarantee the operational continuity of a strategic digital infrastructure.
CLIENT REQUEST
Our client wanted to conduct real-world tests on their data center’s new refrigeration plant using a 6 MW heat load bank. They also needed an autonomous power supply solution via a generator set to ensure the smooth running of tests over a 3-week period.
CHALLENGE
- Replicate thermal loads close to actual operation to validate the refrigeration plant’s performance.
- Maintain continuous and stable operation throughout the testing period.
- Ensure total energy autonomy for temporary installations.
- Operate in a sensitive environment with high security requirements.
TIBBLOC SOLUTION
- Installation of a dry cooler with a power equivalent to 3.5 MW of energy, to dissipate heat specially sized for the operation.
- Rapid installation and on-site connection by our technical teams.
- Monitoring and support throughout the entire testing phase to ensure optimal performance.
PROFITS
- Complete validation of the boiler’s operation before its integration into the network.
- Temporary, reliable, and secure solution for thermal dissipation.
- Maintaining the commissioning schedule.
- Technical support and responsiveness of Tibbloc teams at every stage of the project.
