Cooling production for two butadiene networks

OBJECTIVES

Ensure efficient, safe cooling for the butadiene network while meeting the site’s technical requirements, thanks to a reliable, suitable solution.

CLIENT REQUEST

A refinery called on Tibbloc to supply temporary cooling production. Ensure stable chilled-water production, with equipment meeting the site’s industrial and safety requirements.

CHALLENGE

  • Provide a turnkey solution tailored to the customer’s technical requirements.
  • Offer reliable equipment, validated in a controlled environment before deployment.
  • Integrate custom technical solutions designed by Tibbloc’s engineering department.

TIBBLOC SOLUTION

  • Installation of a chilled-water production unit and two heat exchangers, configured to the customer’s needs.
  • Pre-assembly of all equipment together with the specifically prefabricated items (piping) before installation at the customer’s site. Storage in our depot of “spare” equipment (specific exchangers and chiller unit).
  • A secure solution to meet the constraints of the industrial site.
  • 3D layout studies carried out in collaboration with the new works department to create a new butadiene refrigeration unit, including construction of a concrete slab, installation of new butadiene networks, and a connection planned from our arrival.
